(April 9, 2024) – Defense and intelligence services firm Strativia has appointed Fred Ferares, a retired United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel and senior government contracting executive as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role, Mr. Ferares will be responsible for managing mission execution across all offerings for a portfolio of clients, leading corporate strategies around sustained growth and operational excellence.

Mr. Ferares most recently served as President at Infinity Technology. Prior to this position, he was responsible for Verizon Business Group’s Department of Defense sales organization, including the military Departments, Agencies, Combatant Commands, and the UK Ministry of Defense and Intelligence Community.

His more than two-decade military career included time served in numerous positions within the operating forces and supporting establishments to include: Communications Officer (S-6) at 3rd Battalion 4th Marines, Director of Technology and Director of Strategic Planning and Technical Oversight for the Technology Services Organization of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service to name a few.

Mr. Ferares holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (Summa Cum Laude) in Business from Mary Washington College. He is also a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Amphibious Warfare School and Command and Staff College.
