Fred Ferares serves as Strativia’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsible for managing mission execution across all service offerings for a portfolio of DoD, Civilian, Intelligence and National Security clients, leading corporate strategies around sustained growth and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Strativia, Mr. Ferares was President of Infinity Technology where he led all strategic solutions including program management, information technology solutions, logistics and compliance to support and streamline their public sector customers’ missions. Prior to Infinity, he worked for Verizon where he was responsible for Verizon Business Group’s Department of Defense sales organization, including the military Departments, Agencies, Combatant Commands, and the UK Ministry of Defense and Intelligence Community. He joined Verizon as a Managing Principal supporting Defense and National Security. In that role, he was responsible for managing a sales organization that provides solutions to the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense customers with the Defense Agencies.

Mr. Ferares also served twenty-four years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2011. He served in numerous positions within the operating forces and supporting establishments to include: Communications Officer (S-6) at 3rd Battalion 4th Marines, Director of Technology and Director of Strategic Planning and Technical Oversight for the Technology Services Organization of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, S-6 at 12th Marine Regiment, S-6 at Regional Security Advisory Command Central in Pul-e-Charki Afghanistan, Commanding Officer of Communications Company at 3rd Marine Division, Division Chief of the Strategy and Policy Division and Chief of the Director’s Group at the Defense Information Systems Agency.

Mr. Ferares earned a Master of Science in Information Technology from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (Summa Cum Laude) in Business from Mary Washington College. He is also a graduate of the Marine Corps’ Amphibious Warfare School and Command and Staff College. His personal decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal (with Oak Leaf Cluster), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with Gold Star), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
