Silver Spring, Maryland – January 15, 2012 – Kenneth C. Kelly, the CEO of Strativia, recently chaired the annual Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) panel discussion sponsored by the Maryland/District of Columbia (MD/DC) Minority Development Supplier Council. The MD/DC Minority Development Supplier Council links certified minority businesses with corporate members to increase procurement opportunities. It has existed for over 34 years and serves a vital role in this capacity. It also certifies minority-owned businesses that are headquartered in Maryland or Washington, DC.
The MBEIC is dedicated to communicating the issues that affect minority suppliers to the MD/DC Minority Development Supplier Council’s leadership and members, monitoring the organization’s effectiveness and helping the organization grow.
